We have CCTV available in our Nursery 24/7. However parents do not have access to the service remotely as to protect the privacy of the other children as well.
At Dalia Nursery, we encourage all children to wear the Uniform. It provides a sense of unity and equality. Uniform is also an excellent safety measure when the nursery conducts school trips. Uniforms are available to purchase from our nursery.

We have a NO NUT policy at Dalia Nursery. This ensures that children with nut allergies do not come into contact with nuts. We also ensure no sharing of food takes place in nursery premises. During registration, we are also asking parents to fill up forms i.e. child known allergy etc.
We have our Sickness Policy in place at the Nursery to ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times. Children should not be sent to nursery with any of the following conditions: Fever greater than 37.5 C / Rash (with or without fever) Diarrhoea / Vomiting Breathing difficulties or persistent cough / conjunctivitis or eye infection Any child suffering from a contagious condition that warrants the prescription of antibiotics should be kept at home during the first 48 hours after starting the course of antibiotics and will not be admitted to the Nursery during this period. The nursery nurse takes random temperatures of students each morning. In accordance with Ministry guidelines, any child found with a temperature over the 37.5 normal range will be sent home. No exceptions to this will be made. This nursery policy is in place to prevent the spread of infection, ensure the well-being of both the ill, and prevent other children and staff from suffering from the same symptoms and therefore unable to attend the Nursery. In addition, we intend to ensure the well-being of all of the children in our care at all times.
At Dalia Nursery, we encourage healthy diets. We, therefore, advise parents to provide their children with food that is easy to handle and eat. Parents can send various items, including sandwiches, pasta, rice, yoghurt, fruit, and vegetable snacks. We do not allow the children to consume sweets, chocolate or fizzy drinks in the Nursery.
Unfortunately, we do not provide food for the children in the Nursery. This is due to allergies being present in many children and to prevent cross contamination of food among children.
On a daily basis, you should pack a small bag for your child. Inside should be a snack for the morning and more if they stay later. A water bottle should be inside, alongside a pair of spare clothes. All items should be clearly labelled with your child's name. Diapers and wipes should be sent to the nursery for the children who wear diapers.
