Supermarket Visits

At Dalia Nursery, we take the children on fun supermarket trips to help them learn about numbers, food, and making choices. These visits are a great way for them to practice counting, explore healthy foods, and develop social skills like teamwork and communication. Under carefully planned staff supervision, the children get a chance to experience making simple decisions, like picking items from a shopping list. It’s a hands-on way to connect learning with real-world experiences!

Coffee mornings at our nursery are a great way to build community and support parents through informal, engaging discussions. Topics can include screen time, sleep routines, emotional development, and behaviour. You might also explore healthy eating, parenting styles, play at home, and managing work-life balance. Sessions offer tips on transitions like new siblings or moving, self-care for parents, building support networks, and toilet training—helping families feel connected and supported.
